held every Thursday (from April 1st - August 31st),
Friday and Saturday and on occasional Sundays. Click

March 18th (Mother's Day)
April 8th (Easter Sunday)
May 6th (Bank Holiday Weekend)
May 27th (Bank Holiday Weekend)
June 17th (Fathers Day)
Sittingbourne Greyhounds currently host
two major open competitions each year. The most important
of these is the Kent Derby, a three-week competition
over 480m held in August. Smoking Bullet a dog owned
by ex-footballer and film star Vinnie Jones, won the
first Kent Derby in 2000.
The other major open hosted by Sittingbourne
Greyhounds is the Silver Salver competition over 265m
across two weeks in July each year.
