racing takes place Thursday, Friday, Saturday and
Sundays - regular meeting nights change from at

and we recommend that you telephone us to check
our racing calendar near to the time of your visit.
Sittingbourne Greyhounds currently host
two major open competitions each year. The most important
of these is the Kent Derby, a three-week competition
over 480m held in August. Smoking Bullet a dog owned
by ex-footballer and film star Vinnie Jones, won the
first Kent Derby in 2000.
The other major open hosted by Sittingbourne
Greyhounds is the Silver Salver competition over 265m
across two weeks in July each year.
